New Hope.
This vintage floral pattern grabbed my attention from afar. I met Hope at her 19th birthday party, which also happened to be the evening of the Pacquiao vs. Clottey boxing match. “Diggin,” aka thrift shopping, is a hobby for many of us in the fashion world; Hope has the right idea, mixing this thrift shop cardigan with brands like Forever 21 (where she purchased the dress; stockings are from American Apparel). The shoes were hidden gems she found while browsing at Ross (Winners is the equivalent in Canada!), proving that it doesn’t matter where you shop, as long as you can put the whole outfit together to work for you and your personality .
As an artist and music lover, I like to find out what others are listening to because music inspires fashion. Hope is one of many individuals I’ve met this month who can’t get enough of the band Stage Kids.
