Forget long, flowing beachy hair, strapless gowns and requisite sparking Louboutins, Tilda Swinton rules the red carpet with her own distinctive style. On her androgynous, avante garde style, Tilda has said, “it’s very easy for me to look like a Goth, where very little goes a very long way. It feels more natural for me to wear a tux than a ball gown – that is a kind of transvestism for me. I never had an aspiration to look like a doll, which is fortunate.”
Whether you like her style or not, there is no denying that Tilda owns it, her stature and look, like no one else. While Lanvin has been a recurring red carpet staple for her, lately, Tilda has cultivated a great relationship with Colombian designer Haider Ackerman as well.

The fact that her favorite word is ‘Dude’ and she’d be totally down to play Conan O’Brien in a movie makes Tilda Swinton that much more awesome in my books. In the words of gossip blogger, Lainey Gossip: “If you don’t get Tilda, I don’t get you.”
